Surveying Companies

Okanagan Survey & Design LTD. has been providing surveying services throughout BC, Alberta and more recently internationally on construction and engineering surveying projects of all sizes. We have had ongoing survey projects in Northwest BC on an ongoing basis since 2017. If you are considering hiring a surveyor for your project anywhere in BC, Alberta or beyond consider us. We have a dedicated team of skilled surveyors that can travel anywhere with little lead time.

We have completed large scale survey projects in:

  • Fort St. John, BC
  • Wonowan, BC
  • Kitimat, BC
  • Prince Rupert, BC
  • Banff, Alberta
  • Golden, BC
  • Salmon Arm, BC
  • Kamloops, BC
  • Prince George, BC
  • Williams Lake, BC
  • Penticton, BC
  • Big White, BC
  • Grand Forks, BC
  • Grand Cayman Island

If you are considering hiring a surveyor firm there are a few things that are important to consider:

  • Do they have an experienced team? Often smaller surveyors in BC don’t have other surveyors readily available to change out for shift rotations or someone gets sick or hurt.
  • Do they have a system? We have developed systems and procedures so everyone on our team can do the exact same thing on an consistent and persistent basis. It can be very inefficient and frustrating to have a surveyor arrive for a shift rotation and have different surveyors doing the same tasks with different methods.

If you are looking for surveyors for your next project anywhere in BC we have you covered. All of our projects are completed per our company promise: prompt, precise, guaranteed correct.

CONSTRUCTION SURVEYING

Construction Surveying includes the assessment of project sites in order to survey existing structures, topography and infrastructure. The project is plotted out in accordance with the survey and new buildings are marked out as a guide for construction crews.

AS BUILT SURVEYING

These surveys are helpful in assessing the progress of a job to ensure that it is being completed as drafted, and are often required by governmental authorities to show conformity with local zoning and building requirements.

TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYING

Topographic Surveying is conducted by measuring the contours of the ground and assessing the existing forestry, plant life, infrastructure and buildings for potential build sites. Elevations and horizontal distances are also measured.
