Okanagan River Survey Project

Watersmith Research Inc. chose OSDC Kelowna surveyors to complete the survey component of this large project for the Ministry of forests Lands and Natural Resources. Our scope entailed approximately 60 high detail transections of Okanagan River and structure surveying so that Engineers and Hydrologists could update Okanagan Rivers Hydrological and Hydraulic Capacity. This project was completed from December to March 2013-2014. Okanagan Survey & Design Kelowna surveyors completed and adhered to a very strict safety policy and emergency planning due  the hazardous nature of this project. Our scope also included production of full drawing set including plan view with ortho images, cross sections, and profiles as well as a very detailed cross section data in a format the engineers could use.
