Static GPS surveying

This technique of GPS surveying is completed using two or more receivers simultaneously collecting data from the same satellites. This is used to establish highly accurate horizontal and vertical control over long baselines. Sub centimeter accuracy can be achieved by post processing the RAW observation on specialized software or using Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) Precise Point Positioning (PPP) service.
